Finding Active Listings On Ebay

Using The Search Box At The Top Of Ebay's Home Page, Enter The Artist You Are Looking For - Frequently A More General Search Will Get You Better Results.   For Example - If You Were Searching For Jeff Dunham Tickets, Try Just ~Dunham~.  To The Right Of The Main Search Box Use The Pull Down Menu To Sort By Categories - You Want ~ Tickets ~.  Then Click On The ~ Search ~ Box.  At This Point You Will See A List Of All Events For That Specific Artist.  You Should Also See A Beige Boxed Area To The Left Of The Listings ( If You Do Not, Ebay Has Defaulted You To The New And Improved Search Experience - Scroll Down And Opt Out As It Is Much Harder To Use !  You Can Use The Pull Down Menus To The Left To Sort By City/State, Or Date Amongst Other Things.  It Might Be Helpful To Check Tickets In Other Cities That Are Close To You - But Only If You Are Willing To Make The Trip !  Ticket Prices Can Vary A Lot From City To City - You Might Use That Information To Decide If You Want To Travel To Another City In Order To Save Some Money, But You Should Not Use Prices In Another City For Comparison - Even If It Is Close By.

Finding Completed Listings - Also Known As ~ How Do I Know A Deal When I See One~

If You Are Looking At Active Listings, Scroll Down And Look For The  ~ Search Options ~ Portion In The Beige Area - Check The Box Labeled ~ Completed Listings ~ And Then Just Below That, The ~ Show Items ~ Box.  This Will Display Completed Listings Specific To Whatever Sort You Had Previously Selected ( City/State, Date... ) Including Both Tickets That Have Sold, As Well As Those That Have Not.
