Once You Have Found The Event That You Are Searching For, Make Note As To The On Sale Time.  Most Shows Will Go On Sale @ 10:00 AM Local Time ( Whatever Time Zone The Event Takes Place In ) But There Are Exceptions.

Take A Look At The Seating Chart Well Before The On Sale - Frequently There Will Be A Link On The Event Page - If There Is One, Use It As It Will Be Customized To The Specific Show You Are Attending! If There Is Not One, Google The FULL Venue Name, And Sort By Images - You Can Almost Always Quickly Locate A Seating Chart This Way.  It Is Very Important That You Know What You Are Looking For - A Quick Look At The Seating Chart Will Prevent You From Purchasing A Pair Of Tickets That Aren't Nearly As Good As You First Thought.  Take A Look At  A Sample HERE.

You Will Absolutely Want To Use More Than One Browser.  Internet Explorer Is An Obvious First Choice, But Do NOT Open Two Explorer Windows As They Will Cross Over.   If You Are An AOL User - Even Though AOL Uses Explorer As Their Default Browser, You CAN Have A TM ( Explorer ) Window Open In AOL And One Open Straight Through Explorer Without Any Problems.  Non AOL Users Should Use An Alternate Browser Such As Firefox, Safari, Or Opera.  Check To Be Sure That Your Browsers Can Handle A TM Sale - TM's Java Requirements Exceed Many Dated Browsers.

I Highly Recommend That You Go Through The Process Of Purchasing A Pair Of Tickets Before Your Show Goes On Sale. Read The Section Titled "During The Sale Process"And Then Go To TM And Pick An Event That Is Currently On Sale - Go All The Way Through The Process To Get A Feel For How It Works, As Well As To Check That Your Browsers Will Work. ( Be Sure To Stop Before The Final Step ! )

I Also Suggest That You Sign Up For A Ticketmaster Account Before The Onsale.  TM Will Store Your Information Which Means That You Can "Sit" On One Pair Of Tickets Longer, While Continuing To Search With The Other Browser.
